The people of Sounkyo Hot Springs build houses and palaces with pipes, cover them by net, and then put water over them. After a while fabulous iced monuments mysteriously appear. At night they are illuminated by red, blue and yellow lights and on weekends beautiful fireworks are displayed as depicted on this colorful serigraph by Mr. Tanaka. |
